Delete a Windows service

SC Stop "short service name"
SC Delete "The name of the service as presented in properties after 'Service name' "

Do not confuse with ‘Display name’. Also stop the service first.

If having difficulty establishing service name:

SC QUERY state= all >"C:\Services List.txt"
