Error thrown every time I tried opening event viewer from Server Manager Console. MMC cannot open the file c:\windows\system32\eventvwr.msc
Simple fix, remove/rename cached eventvwr file from following location
c:\Users\"Profile Name"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft|MMC

Extend server 2012 RDS 120 day license trial past 120 day grace period !
Delete the Reg_Binary key located in the following tree path.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\RCM\GracePeriod
To delete this Reg_Binary key you must give yourself full admin rights to it.
Reboot and your back in the game!
